More than 350 seats have been sponsored by Honolulu theatre lovers. Hundreds gathered on Dec. 15, 2022 to see the new theatre and find their special seat. Less than 100 seats remain but there’s still time to sponsor one (or two or three!). It was an exciting and heart-warming evening as donors searched for their special seat.
Each seat has a special story to share. A newscaster surprised a loved one with a seat in honor of his birthday. Gretchen Jong and her three sons found the seat in honor of her late husband and the boys father who loved theatre.
You still have time for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to place a name on one of these cherished seats to celebrate a loved one, honor a performing arts lover, or present a lasting gift to someone special. Name a seat as an individual, couple or family, in memory of a loved one, or honor an employee, a retirement or a business. A laser-engraved plaque will be placed on the arm of the seat. Seats can be named individually, as a couple, or a family. Seats can also be named in honor of employees, businesses and for retirements.
These naming opportunities are available for $5,000 and $2,500.
